About Ringerikes Museum

Ringerike Museum serves as the regional museum for Ringerike and Hole municipalities in Buskerud. Here, we share the story of the old Norderhov Rectory and explore the region's cultural history.

The museum is located at Norderhov Rectory, which served as the private residence of the parish priest from 1635 until the late 1950s when Ringerike Museum moved in. Several rooms are furnished in historical fashion, offering visitors a journey back in time. Here, you can explore both permanent and temporary exhibitions showcasing the history of the rectory and the local cultural heritage.
