Dagali Museum is located in the mountain village of Dagali, and showcases buildings and artifacts from the region, including Skurdalen, Tunhovd, and Uvdal. Most of the buildings and artifacts represents Numedal tradition, as Dagali was part of Uvdal municipality until 1944.

The museum contains 9 buildings from the 1700s and 1800s, along with the old schoolhouse from Dagali. Originally the museum started as a private collection started by Gunnar Stensen (1870-1970), around 1900. In 1947 the museum has been part of the local community, and Dagali Museum Association was founded to manage the museum.

In the summer season you can visit the museum with a museum guide, who will give you a tour of the site and houses. Outside of these hours the museum is free to visit and provides a beautiful outdoor experience. We can also arrange guided tours for larger groups outside of our opening hours.
