Activities for children
In the summer, the Laagdal Museum is the perfect place to be for children and families! We have many historical games available outside during opening hours. We also have swings and other playground equipment.
Something which is very popular is a large log building set which you can use to build your own mini-building which is big eonugh to go inside in.
In the summer, we also have Telemark cows, goats and chickens on the area that you can meet.
You can find Idun and Isak in all museums that are part of Buskerud museums.
At the Laagdal Museum, Idun and Isak are dressed in clothes inspired by photographs from the early 1900s showing children on a farm. All the pictures are from the museum's area, i.e. from Kongsberg, Sandsvær or Numedal. Idun and Isak are therefore dressed up so that they would fit well in some of our old houses.
